New HTC Eris Comes to Verizon Wireless11/5/2009 8:40:00 AM ![]() Verizon Wireless announced its own version of the HTC Hero named Droid Eris. The Eris looks almost identical to the Hero, however, must of the physical buttons were removed and replaced by touch controls. The Eris has very thigh integration with the Google services including Maps, Gmail and videos from YouTube. It features a 5.0 megapixel camera, support for stereo Bluetooth, a 3.2 in multi-touch screen, visual voice mail and access to the Andriod application marketplace.
